If you’d like to use our facility on off days from working out with one of our trainers, you can absolutely do so and we encourage it!  Feel free to come use our cardio equipment or do one of our off day workouts on our workout board!

Many gyms, and the fitness industry as a whole, aim to reach younger, athletic people who are already active. Todd realized that adults, who aren’t currently athletic, or who’ve been inactive for some time, were being left behind. At Todd Smith Fitness, we aim to be the BEST place for adults, typically 30 to 70 years old, regardless of their past fitness experience. Our goal is to help improve not only your fitness level, but also improve your posture, reduce joint and muscle pain, protect your spine, help you lose weight and build muscle, and to improve your overall health and sense of well being. 

At a small group session you get 1:1 attention from one of our certified trainers along with the upbeat energy of a group environment! Sessions  last 45 minutes and max out at 5 people.  Each workout starts with a 5 minute warm up, followed by 35 minutes of resistance training, ending with 5 minutes of conditioning.  Our program is unlike any other.  We are excited for you to build muscle and strength, while simultaneously burning body fat and increasing your metabolism!  Not only that, but your posture will improve, and your nagging injuries will diminish. Our trainers have years of in-person training experience to ensure that you are executing each movement exactly right and we provide constant coaching to make sure you are not only maximizing your time, but reducing your chance of injury along the way.

Our workouts are designed for all fitness levels; beginner or advanced, we will take care of you.  Our program is created for you to challenge yourself, however we understand everyone starts at a different level, and will progress you accordingly in the safest way possible.

The three primary muscle groups we focus on are the upper back muscles, the abdominals, and the glutes.  These parts of our body degenerate as we age,  and oftentimes they can completely shut off or stop functioning optimally.   Being weak in these areas lead to poor posture, muscle pain, and joint pain.  With that being said, we recommend you book at least an upper body and lower body workout weekly, while adding a full body workout or even cardio/mobility if you are training with us 3-4x a week.  Within just a few workouts your body will start to align properly, and you will be on path to looking, feeling, and being your best!

Our trainers all follow a specific approach to training clients.  Each of our trainers employs the same training technique; they all train you the way Todd Smith himself would.  This benefits our clients greatly because it allows them to freely schedule workouts without worrying if a particular trainer is busy or not.  Moreover, whether the client needs to come in the early morning or late evening, they know they can expect the same workout experience every time they come to the gym. 

Our memberships start at 6 months and grow from there.  We understand commitments can be hard, which is why all of our programs are backed by a 30 day guarantee.  If after starting with us you aren’t 100% satisfied with your experience, we will void the remaining months of your contract.

We recommend those new to Todd Smith Fitness start with 2 days a week.  We believe in making small incremental changes to your routine to allow your body to adjust.  Your body is actively repairing itself on the days you don’t come to the gym.  Trying to exercise while you are very sore and fatigued can be counterproductive, especially at the beginning of a new routine.  As clients progress, we intensify the workouts.  After a couple of months, depending on your goals, we will recommend adding another day of training and/or cardio days.

We have over 80 different time slots throughout the week Monday through Saturday starting at 6am and final class ending at 7:30pm. 

Absolutely! At TSF, your results are our priority. We simply recommend adding an extra day or two the following week to ensure you get in all of your desired sessions for the month. For example; if you are signed up for 2x a week but miss the entire week, we recommend working out 3 times a week for the next two weeks to ensure you receive a total of 8 sessions in a month.

We make booking sessions easy and seamless.  Upon signing up, we will create a Mindbody account where you can seamlessly book workouts at your convenience.  We recommend our clients book sessions at least a week out and up to a month in advance, but you also can book as little as two hours ahead of time for those extra busy and crazy days!  We are here for you to make sure sessions always work with your schedule!

We know how much you love to plan ahead, so we open bookings 30 days prior to any session.  All we ask is that if you are not going to be able to make the workout, you cancel at least 6 hours prior.  This allows us to make sure someone else can join in if you can’t make it!  We don’t have a no- show fee in our memberships, however our goal is to make sure you don’t miss your workouts!  If you late cancel or no show, one of our trainers will reach out to you to get you scheduled at another time that is convenient for you.

Some of our more popular morning and evening times can fill up.  If the class you want is booked, you can get on our wait list.  As clients cancel, you will be automatically added to the class in the order you signed up.

We strongly recommend you talk with your doctor about what is appropriate for you. Every body responds differently and the details of each pregnancy can vary greatly. With that being said, we’ve had plenty of pregnant and postpartum clients who have seen incredible results with our program. In fact, most will say how much it helped with aches and pains which in turn lead to a more seamless delivery experience. If you are pregnant or postpartum, simply shoot us an email and we will discuss your needs and ensure we put you in the right program!
